340 muffler mods?

I want to mod the muffler on the husqvarna 340e I just picked up. Curious if any of you guys have done this already, and if you have are there any pics? Onr more thing what does the e stand for in the model#?

The E denotes the air purge primer and also the new spring starter system that makes it easier to pull over. It is wider and has more fuel lines than the original 340, but still a great saw.
