Alright! my two cents that should be looked at as less then a penny!

Stihl 260 pro

if larger MS 361 C-Q (easy start, and second chain break system)

if smaller (make him splurge) Stihl MS 200 T

And the accessories
your own mix tank
your own case
your own chains
your own wrench

Go big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a top handle 200, she needs the rear handle, cost a few pennies more but a 1000 times safer to use..

I run ms 200 T all year long and you can one hand it not advisable just me nice and lite.I always go for that saw instead of heavier ones when cutting in tight spots. cant tell ya how easy is is to sharpen one of those chains anyone with a little skill could and make mistakes, and it will still work.now ready for this i know your not gonna belive it but occasionly i will use them to finish a tough stump that all our big saws dulled out on and cut on a kerf and locked up, little sucker finished the cut and got the stump done.

Hey Gal,
get the man to get you a 026 Stihl and mod the muffler tune it up and go to it. It's small light and a real little monster. My wife runs ours it pulls a 20" bar and is a dream to run all day.

That's a good choice. I didn't think about it, but the 026 is close to the same weight as a 211, and a nice one is about the same price. The 026 will also out cut the 211 by a large margin. A true classic in every sense of the word.

You can also run 325 for small limbs. and switch to 3/8 for something larger.

Both are schooled by the 346xp!

But now that's all the fun<a href="http://www.sweetim.com/s.asp?im=gen&lpver=3&ref=11" target="_blank"><img src="http://content.sweetim.com/sim/cpie/emoticons/00020344.gif" border="0" title="Click to get more." ></a>

Ah well, my mistake guys. I don't mind a little 2 stroke, and I love the smell of diesel. I grew up around and in big trucks.

But we are talking to a Lady here.

He said any saw of your choice as long as its a Sthil. You want light weight, the MS200 rear handle is the saw for you. Its the perfect saw where you can use it all day and the weight won't bother you at all. Wait till you tell him thats the one you want, only around $620.00. He'll cringe but you hold him to what he said........

It it has to be a Stihl, and really light, that is not just the best option, but really the only one! :givebeer::popcorn::popcorn:

For safety, it is very important that it is the rear handle variant.

I sure wouldn't buy my wife or GF a "homeowner" type saw - nice ladies need nice things! :)

My wife just loved the 339xp, that is the corresponding Husky model!

You forgot this part of the story;

I didn't forget, I saw that. However if she wants the best small super lightweight saw on the market and he's willing to pay for it, then its the MS200 rear handle baby. Besides he said it had to be a Stihl. I guess if she gets a Husky we'll know who wears the pants in the house and HE knows I will expose him afterwards, hehehehehehe
