GOOD INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tough to figure stuff out like that unless all the bits and pieces are there in front of you. Good information Ric!:clap::clap:

360 complete!

I finally got to run my 360 pro. I had seen Ricks (wildman) when he got hs a few months ago and I like that saw. His even had the orig case. Mine is very good shape. Low hour saw very good compression. I rebuilt the carb, new fuel lines and filters also tore it down, cleaned it and replaced the intake boot. Even found one that is ethanol resistant...suposedly. That was about 2 months ago. I got it started and the saw would not keep an idle and ran choppy at best. Turns out the plastic fuel line barb on the carb was cracked and making a nice air leak. I was at my saw shop and managed to get an donor carb (along with some other cool stuff) that I robbed the barb off of.
This saw runs like new. I made a few cuts in an oak pallet, not much of a test but this saw has some guts.

Me likey, doesn't look used much. Is it as much of a PITA as the 330 to get apart?

Nice looking 360 Joe and glad ya were able to join the club. IDK what all the fuss is about but I think they are great running saws

Cliff, saw looks like it cuts good. I see you have a pickup there, could you drop off a load of wood for me

Still winter here, forcasting more stupid snow this weekend.

Thanks Brian...I dont think that truck would make it out of the county much less to where you are....which is?

What Homelite would be similar to a Poulan 245a...I like that Poulan but having a hard time finding a good one.

I didnt think so. I had a 330 apart and that saw was a PITA. The 360 wasnt bad at all. The boot was the only part that took some work. But the 360 and 330 are 2 different animals for sure. For one thing (one big thing) the 360 uses a bolt on jug, not a clamshell like the 330.

Cliff,

I have a Poulan 245 and a Homelite XL700, which is pretty similar to a 925, same P/C in most cases. From my research they changed the 925 from 82cc to 77cc due to overheating problems.

Ignitions are a little different, but that Homelite is a really good running saw, as well as the 245.
