My Stihl dealer in Champaign that I bought 6 or 7 saws from retired when he was 62. My wife was his financial advisor(no actual $ amounts are ever discussed). He did well for himself.
He was also a Toro dealer.

Curly birch, moose antler, vulcanized spacer, and brass encompassing a very nice blade. I went without a pommel on this one and just sanded it uniformly and used a pommel nut on the threaded tang. It was completely hand made. No power tools. A lot of rasping and sanding and filing went into this one.

I don't know what it is but the dealer I buy parts from discounts parts and saws 10% or more. I could get a 460 for $860 with a b/c.

I thought about suggesting to my dealer that they should sell me a MS241 at dealer cost, as a thank you for the $45K I've spent there the last two years. That wouldn't be too much to ask would it? BTW, the majority of that was 201Ts!

Geez......I'd think they would give you one for free.......presented on a silver platter.
