looking for info on echo cs 520 muffler mod.

I recently purchased a near mint cs 520 and would like to do a muffler mod. However i can not find much info on the procedure. I would greatly appreciate pictures and info on the mod. Thanks Ron

On my 490 i simply removed the deflector
Pulled the tube out and put the deflector back on pulled the limiters and retuned.
I don't know if youre saw is made the same though.

When I had the 490’s I loved the muff mods on them, easiest ever. Now the Makita 6401...
