Parts came in yesterday! Was able to get the broken screw out of the handle to gas tank hole and put in the air filter and gas cap duckbill. only things left is to figure out the dust seal and dress the bar. I'm also trying to verify that the automatic oiler works. The manual oil button works so it could just be I didn't have enough in the oil reservoir, or the automatic oiler only oils when at WOT?

For the dust seal, do I have to remove the handle / carb assembly in order to install? If so I might wait until I really have to do that.
One other thing I noticed. gas is leaking out of the hole where the fuel line goes in. I think my wife's grandfather used the wrong diameter line can others confirm?

Upon further investigation I'm also missing the thrust washer for the clutch. Does anyone have the dimensions for the washer or have one available? I'm also still looking for the plastic / rubber handle grip. Thanks!

I have a question. I have a poulan pro 5020 av that I bought at HD this winter. I bought another one on craigs this weekend. Guy could get it running. After cleaning it up it looks brand new.

Question is my new saw has a metal plate between the bar and the cover and the craigs saw does not. I searched poulan and the parts diagram I found doesn't show any plate?

My 5020av has the plate as well

Oh well, I bought the saw for a Co worker. Runs good and doesn't seem to puke oil any worse than mine. They are a bit finicky to tune but run good once you get them dialed.

Here is the 2800 after several NOS pieces to fix it up. Runs and cuts good

Haven't done much saw related lately except sell them. I did get bored a couple nights ago cleaning up the garage so I rattle canned the 24" bar on my 4200. It'll wear off eventually but I think it looks good. Also ordered a new clutch to fix my 3000, should get that taken care of later this week.
