I just want to say thanks for taking the time and effort to put the video together. As I understand all saws were muffler modded, but none were ported. All chains were 3/8 full chisel?

I timed them a couple more cuts. Come up with.

262 35.5 34.8 34.9
630 51.0 50.1 49.8

I thought I read spike60 and Cantdog commenting about the 262/630 being more or less the same saw - this was in a 262xp thread somewhere.

Surprised by the difference in cut times. Like whoa.

Same chain. The 630 just doesn't rpm like 262's. I believe spike meant ported 630's run really good. The 630 has 155 compression. Wonder if that's low?

I demoed a 620p, 6100 dolmar last week. Played with my 365 Craftsman and Redmax 621. My buddy brought over his 362 cm and ms 361 last week. I have spent two three weeks running the saws. And came to one conclusion. I ordered a 2260 from Terry. End of the day I feel its the best saw in this class.
Did you organise for Terry to do rude things to it's insides?
My 562 had maybe 20hrs on it before I had terry send me a ported top end. The difference was mind boggling.
It went from struggling to pull an 18" bar to screaming with a 20" in Aussie hardwood. I think it would be the lightest thing that could pull a 24" bar with the sort of speed required for use in a tree.

From the outside looking in, looks like there were some chain deficiencies....

Some self fed, some u had to shove on.

Only way to really compare, is run the same loop of chain on every saw.

But...
