I kind of bounced this thread idea around for a while trying to decide weather I should start a thread about my recent transaction or should I just add it as a post to my Dolmar 6400 thread. In the end I have decided that when a company does an exceptional job they should get their just rewards, hopefully this thread may get a few of ya'll to take a look around their website. Seems that all you ever see is threads where folks feel like they were shafted, this will be a nice change to see one where everything went absolutely right.

Around 7:30pm on Wednesday the 14th I placed a order for the parts to put my Dolmar 6400 back together, three of said part were not in stock and the website showed they would not ship for 5-10 days. On Saturday the 17th, only 2 business days later, I received a email stating that my order had shipped. I figured they had just shipped what they had in stock and I would receive a second drop shipped package in the week or so, I have gotten orders from Baileys that way several times. Much to my surprise the package showed up on the porch today, only four business day after I placed the order, and everything was included. There is no question where I will be going when it comes time to finally upgrade to the 7900 top end.

Big thanks to Edge and Engine for being on the ball.

I purchased the HD filter kit, a new carb shelf, one new AV buffer and two new filter cover clips.

If the fast shipping alone isn't enough to impress you then how about the fact that only want $70 for the HD filter kit?

I will also mention that their website shows them to be a dealer for Dolmar, Echo, Shindaiwa, Homelite and Oregon. Looks like they have quite a selection of obsolete Homelite parts also.
Parts & Accessories for Echo, Shindaiwa, Dolmar, Generac, Homelite. Chainsaw & Trimmer supplies at Edge & Engine

I have ordered some older Dolmar 6000i and 111i parts from them and they came through with the goods.

Thats where I got my 7900 AV mounts. It got here super fast as well. They are Outstanding!

Yes I have dealt with them before and no complaints - good service plus fast shipping, can't beat that. Another sponsor took 3 weeks to 'process' my dolmar parts even though they were listed as in stock. I know where I will be buying my dolmar parts in the future, keep up the good work :msp_thumbup:

I have bought parts from them off ebay
and never a problem.
There are other sponsors on hear that i have
delt with also and have always had great service
and price.

Don't get me wrong now. I have delt with other sponsers, mainly Baileys, and I have not had any real problems. It did take longer to get my Baileys orders but the package had to travel all the way across the USA and this one just had to drop down from NY.

They went out of their way to get a couple of bars for me included on the website so I could include them and some other parts for free shipping. And BTW that was a killer price on the chain.
Thanks guys.

I'm new to AS and within a couple days I stumbled upon them and made a purchase with edge &engine and was happy. Great service!

when Baileys sells trees they will be ready to cut into saw logs before you get it

Edge and Engine and Chainsawr (sorry but had to add another sponsor and awesome to deal with) have it down pat with respect to ordering and customer service, be it east or west coast, and hell even up here in the north coast! Nothing wrong with Baileys but they got too big too fast and can't so easily step up to the bar. Hey Gregg these guys can ship to Canada via USPS and hey guess what chainsaws and related parts etc.....are duty and tariff free check out the tariff codes, not to mention there orders get here before yours even ship.
(no offense to Baileys but I can order an alternator and abs sensor from Rock Auto and have it arrive the next day via Fedex for about the same shipping that Baileys charges me to ship a couple of 18" bars and I know its comming as the neighbour down the road called to let me know the fedex truck is looking for me and didn't know which big oak to turn at).

AS is good for being able to provide us all with other options, I continue to deal with Baileys, and most liekly always will just for the extra lil bits here and there and especially for the stuff I may use one day, as they have such great prices )still have 6 New Carelton Timber Champs ready for my 372 or 576 as needed...too bad i didn't buy the,at $6 ea!!)
