066-Replicating a new red eye

Has anyone done any extensive research of where or how to make a new “eye” for the red light. I ran into a weird problem while dissembling my 066 RL, the light is easily damaged if you try to remove it the same way it was installed. Also, while just moving the leads around, the casing that protects the wires falls off from dry rotting. I can heat shrink the wires but the light?.?.?. Where and who makes this LED parts to make simple repairs.

Most people want to get rid of the red eye coil. They are prone to failure and are rev limited.

as a collector i only buy redeye saws if the red eye still operates properly, a survivor needs to be all original
a work saw is fine to modify as it wont have collector value

This 066 is getting a full restore and yes my light is working and everything is oem. I am a collector/user, this 066 will be started every now and then but will be a wall hanger.
