By any chance did you check squish when you rebuild it? If so what was the number you got?

Was the arrow on the Piston facing the exhaust side or the intake side?

The absolute cheapest thing for you to do if you're after power is to just buy the ms661 and save yourself buying five other saws over the next 4-5 years because you need more power. LOL

Yup you suck . Like said get a new clutch cover and try sanding some of the burnt plastics off the crankcase plastics. Worth a shot

As one of the people that" jump threw hoops" with the kit saws ( lol) I have had good luck with them. I have 2 of them the ms660 and the ms361 and except for a NGK plug , and a gasket and seal kit the saws run and work fine . Oops I forgot that I added a $15 oil pump that puts out a little more...
