I refuse to buy chains locally for two reasons. 90% are junk safety chains Outrageous prices I keep enough new loops on hand to get me through a UPS delivery wait time.

Having done some chain sawing on poison ivy, I would not reccomend it. It is possible to suit up enough to protect yourself but you would still need to clean up your gear and saws afterword.

Glad they were able to get it all put back together. Doesnt look like any function was damaged. This could have been avoided with a proper triple humped semi-chisel safety chain and a narrow tip bar.

Just mix expired bio oil with motor oil 1 part bio oil, 10 part motor oil :)

I have a couple because they were the only option for the mount, length, pitch, and gauge I wanted. Been happy with mine. No bragging rights as the paint wears off pretty quick.

That is the standard sprocket size and it will work with any any gauge chain.

I use VP C10 exclusively. 5 gal pails are ~$50-60.

Thats a good price. Paid half that for just a muffler last year. Not bad saws after removing the cat and with a decent chain.

I got bit more than once. Will give them some time to get their stuff organized and will probably shop with them again. Just part of shopping online. Still a lot easier than trying to find stuff locally or at multiple vendors. Hope this doesn't ruin their business. I do think they should...
