Why is it that not only does the 029 super does not recommend a 20 in bar , but some saw that have lower ccs like the dolomar 111i is a 52cc saw but comes stock with a 20 in bar , also i have a old poulan farmhand saw 49cc i believe maybe 45cc , has a 20in bar and pulls it fine , but the stihl seems to have problems pulling the 18in bar in live oak ? Just something that was bothering me , and would like some insite thanks

Torque! My husky 445 50cc screams with a 16" bar but I'd never put a 20" on it. My old Jonsereds 52 pulls a 20" with a 8 pin sprocket. I'll admit 20" oak was pushing it hard but it got done. I think it blows 160 compression.
