Good news for Disston/Merc owners

Just got message from Grubbs Marine www.oldmercs.com the coils for Bendix magnetos they carry are the correct replacement for Disston/Merc saws with Bendix ignition. They also have condensers for this application, but no points. Now I can here that big Disston roar, or maybe hum? I'm ordering mine tomorrow!

Sorry for omitting the price. I had intended to include that, but simply forgot before posting. The price for each coil is 38.95. Condensers are 4.00 ea. Shipping is extra, between $7 and $9. My 101 is a single cyl, so I only need one of each. $50.00 is not so bad to get a saw like this running. If I had to buy two I would be a little reluctant to spend that much. I hadn't considered looking for a used coil, they all seem to be cracked.
