Ok, so someone contacted me out of the blue a few days before Christmas. He's a collector in Germany and he's looking for a 3100G. I don't know the guy, but his name is Klaus, and today is Christmas, so I figure it would be bad karma to tell him to find his own [email protected] Homey...

Anyway, if you have one or know where one is that can be bought, can you please let me know? I'll pass it along to Mr. Klaus.

Good luck, mine had to come from Australia. Yet some folks just find them cheap and close.

They seem to range from $100 finds to well over $1000. Bill G. wanted $1800 for one of his two. I'd say $800 - $1200 would be about right as you almost never see these come up for sale. Then if it has a long bar and chisel chain the price is generally more.

I’m not terribly familiar with these but that’s about what I’m hearing on prices too.

Ok, Mr. Klaus is still looking for one of these, and he's a serious buyer. He'll pay well over $1,000 for a nice one. Anyone got one they'll let go?

Your probably going to be looking for a while, it was years before I finally got mine. There was a couple on ebay last year and they sold for big money.

One was 1600 and some change. I don’t have a link, but I was one of the losing bidders.

I was happy to get mine for less that 1k and from a member here. A new member asked some questions about 4 saws, one was a 3100G. Then he puts it on Craigslist and another member here sends me the link. It was only a hr away from me so I bought it.
