I have several chainsaws that I will most likely never use for their intended purposes. Some are outdated but cool, and some are just cheap saws that were given to me or too good of a deal to pass up. Currently most of the saws are in running condition, and I would like to keep them that way. What is the best method for storing them so that the carbs don't get gummed up, but also how do you keep the diaphragms from drying out?
Should I drain the fuel from all of them and run the carbs dry? Should I keep the fuel in them, unfortunately, some of them have low grade fuel in them, but I did add Stabil to the mix. Some of them have premixed high octane fuel with fuel stabilizers in it. Should something else be added to the fuel?
Any ideas?
