After you bring out the black chain saw case, you then open it. A green aurora emits from the cracked case and a Poulan wildthing is now omnipresent. You pick it up and set it on the ground in front of you and the zombies explode like the roaches on the Raid commercials.

Well it may actually be your only option for a lil while, there will be enpty HD's and WalMarts with lots of WildThings, better than no chainsaw.

The 361, cures cancer, kills zombies and runs a while on a tank, as can the 357xp. MS200 with 16 inch bar as backup.

But its no coincidence that when god made zombies he also made the 12g pump action

...but gotta be able to pull 3/8 chain with some authority.

I've been thinking about this assumption (which is time I'm going to want back at some point in my life, I know...), and I can't go with you on the 3/8ths.

Here's the thing...with the 3/8ths, you've got larger cutters in the zombie. But with the .325, you've got more cutters in the zombie. A lot of guys prefer the 3/8ths cause that's fewer cutters to sharpen. But does that really matter battling zombies all day? Seriously...when are you going to have time to touch yer chain? If you stop throwng zombie chunks, you've gotta rip it off and put a new one on right then and there.

And too, think of kickback...does a surgeon's bonesaw have large teeth or small teeth? It has tiny teeth! My thought is that, if you got a kickback as a result of 3/8ths chain on bone, you could end up with a running chain in your head, since the chainbreak would likely be all full of zombie crap and stuff to have gotten activated.

this thread is hilarious:clap:

just because so many members obviously have well thought out plans in the event of zombie apocalypse....:chainsaw:

I was going to mention that also.. I've stuff around here that would take down John Q. Zombie at about 200 yards.

""Cripes, Giant, it's a HYPOTHETICAL question, get onboard will ya! Are ya gonna come out and play this morning or are you going to be a grumpy b@stard"?

Oh, sure, I see. In THAT case, ... hmmm.... something light, fast, and super reliable... something that's good on gas.. let's face it, the post apocalyptic zombie world won't be replete with gas stations. A full wrap bar would be pretty nice so you could do some serious carving... hhmmmm....might have to forget that, not a lot of smaller saws have full wrap. Spare parts would be huge, too, since we've apparently vaporized my Remington 600 and my .44 special. Filtration.. not an issue... I'm thinking...

Stihl 026/MS260!!!

What the????

:jawdrop: How in the world ya think of something like this...LOL!! I guess I would have to be a zombie to even carry a Husky around..... :monkey:

Stihl 009 in my left hand , Husqvarna 334T in my right, that way I could fight two zoombies at once, kung fu style!:chainsaw:

Of course I would want forearm chaps in case of a bad swing, and a couple of sawchain necklaces because there probably wouldn't be time for sharpening.

God help you with that mini mac I used to have, they would eat you alive before you ever got it cranked!!

I'd feel more comfortable with something like this.

You can also use it to cut down trees if need be.

Barrett M501.

Then you can pop 'em in the head from 200++ yards away.... for close quarters... my Uncle's Stihl 009 and my dad's MS 170.

I'd go with a MS361 20" bar and a MS200 with a 14" bar as a side arm. I'm glad that I'm not the only one on this board that has a proper Zombie Apocalypse game plan. I agree that a Stihl is a good one for this due to the amount of dealers.

Right on - my choices exactly!!!

You aint going to get many zombies with the puny tank on that ms170
and i dont think they would stand long enough to cut their heads off at slow speed lol

the arm chap idea is solid. i was thinking you would need some bite protection on the arms if you were to go with the 2 200t's. just in case you missed and one got in too close, your natural instinct is to put your arms up. maybe one of them chainmail shark bite proof tops? obviously the full length and wrap around at the heel chaps should protect your legs from a crawling zed that has biting intentions. steel toe workboots too!

and fuel......how about a camelback filled with mix and a no spill end that you can pop into the tank to refill. all you have to do is move a few steps ahead of them and at this pace you should be able to get the spout into the tank. forget about the bar oil as the zed blood will be rather coagulated and i'm thinking it would work well enough for chain lube. (but you will need to have a supply in case you decide to cut wood for the campfire at night)

screw the cities too boys. get as far away from population as possible (i dont know why i just told you this....i guess i'll see you boys up the mountains)
