I'm holding off on dates now but ya'll can decide what will be better. Our new arab general manager thinks we should open the shop on Saturdays.:censored::censored::angry::angry:

We are suppose to be rotating each Sat. and my next one will be the last one in March or first in April, LOL. I stihl haven't got up with Tony to talk about dates either. I would hate to have missed this gtg but I need a job more than saws. When I get a better schedule, I will post...

didn't go thru the whole thread again...have you decided on a location yet? I'm game if in the northern part.

Well some of our guys don't want to work on Saturday, including me. I might go ahead and set a date so everyone can plan but I might not be able to show. April 4th is looking ok. When this is confirmed, I will have one of the mods edit the title with the date included.

My Jeep club has held many events at Upper Tellico OHV

The first couple years, we had our basecamp at Indian Boundary USFS CG, which is just across the TN line on the Cherohala. As you are getting to the crest, coming from NC to TN, Tellico OHV is one (or two) ridgelines south. (off to the left)

We rode up from Robbinsville no problem, coming home was in a typical SWNC monsoon. LOL Jeep Comanche pickup, 6" lift kit, really flexy springs, spooled rear axle, 33" mud tires... What fun!!!

I hope to get back out there on the bike one day... the Dragon, Cherohala, and a few backroads I've found look like lots more fun on a bike than a woggly old Jeep.

I am about 35-40 minutes from Indian Boundary; Athens, TN
I would love to load up the saws and come to a GTG!!!

Trever

brian does it look like more guys are interested and can make it this time?

i dont know where i was last time? chasing women maybe? :monkey:

I'll be happy to have one for you.!!...since I'm too lazy to research the whole thread, where will it take place?

Your "yard dogs" wouldn't be much good in Patrick Co, Virginia.:buttkick: When we were down last week we saw a Great Horned Owl at the side of the road with dinner.....'possum! He got nervous when we shined the lights on him, and he took off with the 'possum in his talons.

i wish that owl would roost on my front porch we have blackbirds eating the small birds food and im getting tired of them blackbirds crows in other words
