How well does Cherry wood (and brush/leaves) burn when unseasoned? Lost half a very large Sour Cherry tree in last Fridays storms and now have a large brush pile to burn. Will it burn wet or should I let it dry out for a couple weeks before trying to burn it? Seems to me I remember Cherry wood as one that will burn decently when wet, but not sure.

Firewood will go to my son-in law for his patio fireplace, hopefully to burn late summer/early fall.

from my experience, unseasoned cherry burns pretty well.
not so sure about freshly fallen live cherry though.
couldnt hurt to let the brush sit a bit, or just add more gas/oil mix and let her burn! :chainsaw:
