It's new.
I guess it was designed for Stihl-head fishing - what else would make any sence?
Regardless, the handle design is not a good one, and I am not speaking about the logo on it!

Oooops sorry, posted before I read that!
I used to have the same hobby in the late 1980s - and a bit into the 1990s!
I mostly used Fibatube/Hardy blanks, but also some G. Loomis and Fenwick ones (+ some cheaper ones, but then it really wasn't worth the work involved).
