i cant get past the price tag on any of the 50cc class saws ,it just seems so much for so little. saw prices are so high now a days that if a man lost one or two it could break him. i go to work every day with 3-4000 dollars worth of saws and i cant even go into a gas station without thinking, i hope nobody grabs a saw while im in here

I see what your saying but hell you cant even buy a good new work truck for nder 35K nowadays

I agree, aside from the dubious nature of this thread, 50cc @ $750 is rich for my blood, 372XPW's around here still for $800. But it's whatever someone wants and however they want to spend their money - ain't my business, and I get a heck of a lot out of my own ported 346.

Huh, $750 is what you would pay for a stock 346 here in Canada. Never really understood why people get bent out of shape about asking prices. If it is too rich for your blood don't buy. Let anyone list a saw price for what they like, and if someone is interested they can buy. Thats kinda the way business works in our capitalist society! Are guys getting cabin fever already!

346's are $400 PHO plus shipping. coil is about $40 counting shipping. non-cat muff is another $40 with shipping. porting is about $250 plus shipping. looks like you have about $750 when all is said and done.
now would i pay that for one? probably not. i have a couple of 346's that i did for myself. they might not run as fast as that one, but they are def better than stock MM.

As with all things powered by an internal combustion engine - somebody always wants more power and most are willing to pay for it. The newer diesel trucks with tuners, turbos, etc. is a fine example. The Husky is available for a price and nobody is twisting anyone's arm. I expect it to be sold within another week.

I get it now, I had to do some looking in the trading post, honest to god...no pun intended I didn't realize it was Brads ad... I just responded...
I guess I fell for your pun also, cause that is the same way I thought you meant it. I am not sure why it is, but you seem to have a bone to pick with Brad constantly, so I figured this was yet another one of your daggers you like to stab in his back. In that regard it's punny from both sides.;)

I don't believe you even want an answer to your question, but I'll give you one anyway. The person that will buy a saw like this, is the person that wants the power of a larger saw in a smaller package. This saw will give you that. If this is too much for you, then simply move on. There are plenty of guys that will. This is far from being a one off saw. Ask the guys running them. They'll tell you what it's worth, and I doubt you'll find any one of them willing to sell you their saw.

Sounds right. "Turn key" package so to speak. If you haven't dealt with shipping a saw back and fourth, its a PITA. Seems shippers like to play football with the boxes.....

from the view of an outsider half the age of some people that get mixed up in this, it really looks pathetic..especially to start these threads
i dont even try to keep up with all the drama between the 2 "camps" , but its impossible to ignore.. some grown men on this forum are worse than the 15 year olds we get on the 4wheeler forums

There aren't two camps here. You're giving too much credit to the haters. There are only a few that seem to get off on trying to belittle others.

However, it does blow my mind, that even within the relatively small population of AS, that there are so many that have such low self esteem that they have to behave like this. No healthy man would behave the way a group of you do here. No proper father would allow their children to behave the way you do. You think you're mean and tough, when in acutality, you're a soul found in want. It really is pathetic.

The OP and haters seriously need to get laid. The market bears what it bears, and rejects what it does not bear.

Just saying. :sucks:

Man, I wish my tools for work were that cheap. I got probably 10 times that invested in my tools so I can work.

BTW. Harry Barker is a **********.
