Thought I might as well add to this..:D This was some of the first cuts with it, was idling a little fast. Can hear the top cover rattling also. Since fixed that.

My all time favorite has to be the ol' Blue XL12 with the straight muffler. I still pull it out for a few just to get that deafening sound I remember when I was a kid..:). Always reminds me of better times, not to mention a mini bike in your hands....:chainsawguy:

Go ahead and raise. That 6000 sounds great, but it's just not the same sound!

Fine sounding saws guys!!!!!

Not up on the green saws at all, but do know some smaller saws
have a better sound than their big sisters.

I have always liked the sound of 041's, even the little Stihl 015AV has a neat sound for such a little saw.

You can be standing 4 feet away and feel the ground thumping under
your feet when this old girl is just at idle.

McCulloch Super Pro 70. Just have an incredible sound to them. Iconic to the era and industry in my opinion.
As for the modern saws... 372XPW. Music to my ears hahaha.

I loved the way the lil 015L sounds, It is such a sweet all around saw. Sounds great and cuts like a bigger saw than it is.
