One of my favorite sounding saws

You were very lucky to find one, the bar is 16".

I know I am looking for more SOLOs. Yes, my best guess bar was 16". I am getting one 16" ProTop and one 20" Titanium. When I get the second saw assembled, I will post pics.

We have 2 Solo 635's they have a interesting sound too.

When were those made? I wonder if there is a SOLO thread here?

Well I dont have one of those
Think I passed on some cause they had been painted one color, and I wasnt interested in restoring them at the time...

Applause for you gentlemen. Gotta say I'm getting itchy to find a 5200 or 6000 Poulan. I've always wanted a KD-100, too. They just look mean. For sound though, the 288xp is #2.

#1 belongs to west coast big bangers. Wait 'til the end for 210cc of thunder from asunder... If you have external speakers, jack it up and watch your keyboard rattle around your desk.

My all time favorite has to be the ol' Blue XL12 with the straight muffler. I still pull it out for a few just to get that deafening sound I remember when I was a kid... Always reminds me of better times, not to mention a mini bike in your hands....:chainsawguy:

I agree.. my xl 12 and my e-z have a great sound to em .. I know that they do piss off the neighbors when I fire em up :hmm3grin2orange:
