The best bar

I have the need for a new larger bar for my MS 460, The 25in ES bar that is on it is too short. I have only ever got Stihl ES bars. Is that what i should stick with? What is the BEST bar out there?

I'd highly recommend a 28" Stihl ES Light bar.

I don't have pics of Stihl bars on Husky saws but I do have pics of Stihl saws with Stihl bars. Sugi Hara bars are nice, I have one or two old ones that are still in good shape.

When you say best are you asking for lightest or longest lasting? I have mostly Stihl bars but have a couple of Cannons thats a heavy bar but should last you a long time.

That's what the ES Light bars are. Never used one, but heard all good.

The only true alu core bars are the Husky TechLite - Oregon and Stihl use alu inserts on their light bars, not an alu core. :msp_wink:

The Cannons may be most durable - the downside is that they also are very heavy!

Cannon, tsumura, and stihl are the 3 best. The cannon is the stiffest and probably the hardest rails.
