I buy parts online I wouldnt step foot in a dealer to buy parts. and i'm not sure what model has the choke in the filter, must be old or really small. just saying if you cut alot of wood a poulan will not hold up, if you live in town and cut a few limbs fine. where do you poulan guys get your parts? Home depot, or are the new poulans husky knock offs dont know and dont really care there both junk, little play toys, maybe you can get them at wally world.

You really dont know your stihls do you. That would be a PRO Stihl saw with magnesium crankcase 026. Unlike the 290 plastic

how bout an 066, and i had an 026, never changed the filter used it 15 years, i did have it off dont remember the choke being in it , it may have been. do people have trouble with the plastic crankcases. it works fine for me. I didnt learn to much about fixing my saws, they never need fixing

More ignorance revealed.

The Poulan Pro 330 saws are not "...junk, little play toys...."

Yes, at one time 330s could be bought cheap at TSC, IIRC, but that was a marketing decision, not a reflection on the 330 quality.

I said it must be old or small 026, 028, old, small, I have owned 6 stihls like i said i can own them for years and never fix a thing, maybe a fuel line, and i use them alot. I could go through all the stupid engineering on your poulans and huskies, but it would take too long.:dizzy:

Ok, I had my fun. Now you are just a waste of time. Good bye.

I work on stihls all the time just like any brand. :dizzy:

If you wasnt so biased and wearing goggles you would learn there are saws out there made by other companies better then or equal to a pro stihl.
I dont even count your plastic pos 290 029 as a real stihl. It is marketed to the homeowner sawer on a $400 budget. Which for that they could buy a real saw somewhere else. JMO

Just the dirty dozen to show I owned all makes.

Stihl has done their share of "stupid engineering", actually they are very busy doing just that. :givebeer:

How did I miss this thread?

And where did you guys find this idiot?

Not even as strong as the older reed ones in the poulan family. But dang I like these.

god thats slow, yes i have an 066 and i cut alot of stuff bigger than this vid all the time, thats why i bought it, what size bar should i put on it? i'm thinking 36, i have a 25 on it now, if i get the 36 between the 2 of them i should have it all covered, and i have a 20, and i could put the 18 from the 290 on it. I cut up and remove the big stuff the tree services dont want to deal with and split it for firewood, I make $1000 a big oak. I would never show up with a poulan.
