Have fun. I need to run and work on some more plastic POS stihls and move them to the next lucky customer.

Need to check psi on a echo 80cc too ;) and then pack a 338 to ship.

You guys play nice now with our new pin cushion.:rock:

nobody in business uses a poulan, and theres only a few that use huskies, you guys can sit in your garage and fix them all day. But dont be seen in public using one. you will be laughed at.......

Please make a video and come back to present your 290 with 25inch bar in an oak of that size.

I will, just will wait for the frost to come out of it. He was cutting a dry ash which i find to be harder than oak. when oak is still green or even still wet it cuts easy.

You need to stop generalizing everything. My stihl dealer was going out of business until he made a huge move...... He started selling huskies.

I know that's dif in dif areas of the world and I know new poulans from Wally World aren't 066s, the holy grail of the greatest saws ever made, but they serve a purpose. Cheap saws, just like part of the lineup at a stihl dealer. Poulans were some amazing saws not long ago when the 330 was available.

Anyone that would laugh at me when I use my 335 poulan to cut wood isn't worth worrying about. I have a friend that used to laugh at them till he cut wood with me for a day. Then again...he's a smart guy. He was just uninformed. He reformed his opinion when he was educated and saw the truth.

Edit to include above comment... I Hate working on stihls. I have an 024 I'd like to smash. I can rebuild an older or newer poulan with new crank seals and all in about a half hour.

You should have changed your user name to "uninformed" - but that one is already taken...:laugh:

So you are saying poulans are secretly the best saw out there. and i am so uninformed about this. I dont know why i waste my time typing. you people dont have a clue. bunch of homeowners, whip out the chaps, face shield, helmet, poulan saw and go cut a branch that fell down in the wind last night. and cut it in 4 inch lengths so you can use the saw more. then spend an hour cleaning it. drain the gas and set it back on the shelf.:laugh::laugh:

No, not really - as someone else said, you are over-simplying things. No brands are consistently better than other brands - you have to look at every single model. ;)
