I got a ms261 I need to put the top end back on, two 361's that are in boxes and I am waiting for scarr52 to weld/repair the pto side of the case. And another 361 that is 100% disassembled that I scored of eBay for $50. Piston and cylinder are trashed but just bought a good used oem topend off eBay.

The newest project that was delivered by my wife yesterday morning is my daughter Ava. She was born at 9:02 am, 8-29-13 and she is beautiful. Mom and baby are doing great. I am looking forward to this project that will last a lifetime.

Congratulations on the new edition. They truly are a lifelong blessing.

Nothing as exciting as Rory.....;)

Just finished a crankcase swap and other repairs to this 2083 Jonsered that a customer ran over (Not his saw either)....

Part way through a case up 266xp build for resale.....

Got a squashed 2100 Husky and a sparkless 395 to tackle today too.:msp_thumbup:

One of these 201s belongs to a local arborist. When I meet and give him his 201 tonight, he's giving me one of those new little MS150s. I'm looking forward to checking that tiny little thing out.

very interesting...hope to get to see some pics of the guts.

Howdy to all. I figured this would be as good a thread as any to introduce myself.

My name is john and I found this wonderful site while researching for a new saw purchase. I ended up buying an ms326. Since then I stumbled across a beat down 026 of which I have completely gone through and got running very well thanks to google and this site.

I can't wait to cut with this 026 but I'm waiting for a new rim sprocket and bearing. It had. .325 on it when I got it but I bought a new 16" bar and 3/8" chain to match what I have on the 362. I'm very pleased with the 362 and a 20" but I'm really eager to use it with the 16".

The only reason I have had the 362 on the bench so far was to see if the rim sprocket matched that of the 026. Thanks to all for the wonderful wisdom shared here.

Welcome home....

After cutting a .035" popup in the piston, and then dropping the jug .045", I ended up with a squish of .020" and compression just shy of 180 PSI. I didn't see much change in cut times in this wood though. Maybe it needs more time to learn. When listening to this vid and the MMd only vid, it does look stronger and seems to be holding more RPMs in the cut now. The stop watch isn't seeing it though. Maybe I just need bigger wood to show the difference. Regardless, the saw runs very nice.

034 av super with 100PSI and a scored piston. The bloke who dropped it off said he changed the muffler and noticed the scoring but thought nothing of it. Once I told him the cost of the repair he promptly bought a 026 I had and went on his way. Also a sears walk behind trimmer..needs a new carb, fuel line, pull cord and keyway insert ..

An 038 Super that needs a new fuel tank, intake boot, and AV mounts. Intake boot came in today. Tank and AV mounts are due here tomorrow.
