He has nothing to lose by posting pics or numbers but also nothing to gain. I don't really care if its legit, stolen, or imaginary its simply not my problem or for me to worry about no matter what the situation is.

I bought this saw on the up and up, it passed my muster and that's all that matters. I even went to the extent to call a Stihl dealer and he ran the serial number. He even gave me the name of the buyer and city / state.

Wait, it was a raffle prize and not run, and now you have learned that it is registered to someone already? Those imaginary dealers are good! They can see into the future to know who wins the raffle before it happens and register the saw to that person. Good stuff!

Stupid ass.......Someone had to buy it from a dealer, in order to make it a raffle prize. Duh!!

I would assume that was the person that was charged with buying gifts for the raffle. And, I also learned that it was purchased on Dec. 5th.

Some of you said that it was too nice, or too expensive of a saw, to be a raffle prize. I can't say one way or another. All I know is, that I happened to be in the right place at the right time, and called the seller.

If someone were to ask me NICELY for the serial #, instead of DEMANDING it, I just might be okay with that. But then again, who really knows. As disappointed as I am with some of you, I just might tell you to ****-off. It's definitely a time sensitive issue.

His signature line of equipment seems to have just gotten a bit shorter..............

When in doubt use profanity... Dano?

Seems to me ol' Dano is a bit defensive.

Good eye!

Four weeks ago, I sold my 660R to my friend up in N. Idaho that I helped clear some of his land, earlier this year. I initially wanted a 461R, but the dealer couldn't produce one in time. So, I bought the 660R for just this specific reason to take with me and help my bud clear some land.

After we were done clearing most of what he wanted done, I left the 660R at his farm. He's a lot more experienced at dropping trees than I am. So, he dropped um, and I cut them to length. I told him that he could use it as he needed. He used it a couple of times, called and told me (again) that he wanted to buy it.

So, in order to more or less shut him up, I sold it to him. I just didn't have a month to month use for a saw that size. I simply forgot to remove it from my sig. line.

I didn't demand. I challenged you to post it up here many pages back. I guess I probably don't want to be running the number of a stolen unit anyway. Next thing I know, the po-po (the real ones) will be dropping by to find out where the saw is. Doesn't matter either way. If you ever have to take it in for service, the computer will rat you out. Good luck with that.

Hell yes......three years in the military and almost 30 in LE.

I don't trust any adult that doesn't curse.
That's actually true, most people that curse in public are more trustworthy, I still recall someone asking you why your location was between a rock and a hard place and your answer was that you were in a witness relocation program, is that accurate or am I mistaken. By the way nice saw, ran one at Spike60's gtg, if your looking to trade for something in my sig give a holler.

Whether or not he has all that on his list stolen or not is not the rub I'm thinking.

In little time I have been on this forum I have seen a trend. The anonymous nature of forums have possibly made Dano a bit big for his britches.

...and he seems very defensive on a kind of non-issue. Looking at some more of his posts its par for course.

Dano, don't let this bunch of vigilantes on here ever know that you've ever run a chainsaw in your garage, they'll rake you over the coals for it.

and I am wondering who would sell a "legitimate" MS200T for $35.00 so it goes both ways...

Seems on here if anyone gets a great deal on something all's good but if someone else gets a great deal then the item must certainly be stolen... I have not knowingly ever purchased something that was stolen but since I have purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of used tools and equipment I would expect that from a probability standpoint, some of it was.

What you think doesn't mean a rat's ass to me.

Why don't you post up each and every serial number of every saw that you own or have owned? You won't, cause it's not anyone's business.

Sounds like you've made a career out of working on chainsaws. Good man, bet your wife is real proud. Aspirations are everything.

Exactly! Bunch of sour grape losers.

There have been a lot of posts in regards to someone getting a good deal on a saw or related equipment. It's called a "you suck" award I guess.

Here I was thinking, that this saw purchase would be my first "you suck" award and I would have one under my belt.

As far as running a saw in my garage, I stated that I have at times, and will continue to do so. My saw, my garage, and my right.

Kind of sad actually, that so many on this forum, let their little world revolve around chainsaws. Sad......really sad.
