I felled and limbed up with my 288 yesterday, power, noise and flying chips. I could've walked 15' and picked up a small limbing saw but where the hell is the fun in that, using a 288 is an event

Thought about selling it recently, then I used it

Dex, if ever I could sway you and talk you into one saw.... it would be a 288. Everyone needs to own one..... or two.

Seeing how Jrsdws and myself go back several years and have had a few dealings over that time. It would lead me to believe that I would get a good buddy price :) I got a text yesterday asking if I wanted it (before it went up).

He is a good friend and would have done right by me on this saw. I am trying to cut down/back on my saw purchasing. I am down to the 5 I like the best and it's likely going to stay that way for a little bit.

I got 1st dibs and it feels good to know I have a friend that would do such a thing :)

Anyways. . Back to your regular scheduled programming ;)

2 things from a friend to a friend:
1) I am down to the 5 I like the best - a good running 288 would change how you see your lineup. I was a diehard Stihl guy and took one test ride on a stock 288. I talked Randy out of the saw right after the first cut. Came home and sold all my Stihls and started buying up Husq and Jonsereds. Got the 288 ported and it is my favorite saw now.
2) Glad to know the Seller is a good friend of yours. We always need more of the "good guys" in our circle..... so thanks for letting me know.

back to the saw folks- If Jrsdws is a friend of Dex's... buy with confidence!

What are you doing looking at this saw? You just sold a 90cc saw!!!

Never ran a 288 lite, that is a pretty good price too!!!! How is that 390xp??? Was running some 660's and thought about that 390 stealing the show.

Did you see Brad's saw, the johnny??? I would like to see that 390 u have against the johnny!!!!

I was expecting to come home and find this saw sold. Im shocked it is still here. For those of you who have never ran a 288- you have no idea what you are missing out on. You are NOT a "True Husq Man" until you have one of these saws in your stable. :buttkick:

You're not a true Husky man if you only have one in your stable.

This saw is still available. I've had a couple of offers and some other inquiries but no deal done yet. Just to note, I dropped this saw off at a local shop yesterday for a good tuning. I didn't feel I was hitting the tune just perfect and this guy is an aboslute ace on these saws. I want it to go out in the best possible condition it can be in even though a new owner may have to retune at their location.
