Guys that want to save a few bucks and gain the small mount buy the triple nickel . Ported it's hard to tell the difference between a ported 562 and 555.

An before Rev boost is brought up.... It make almost no difference

Thanks for the clarification, and that is good to know. I know someone with a 555 who wants to see my 362 run after it is ported. I have seen a lot of info on the 562 and 550 ported, but not the 555. I also ran a 560 at GTG, nice saw.

Saw porting is a fad. With time it will fade and our names will be forgotten.

Thank you for your candid and honest replies to this thread, Randy. Your work speaks for itself which is why you have a waiting list. Due to your professional recommendation and in light of the weight your reputation carries, I will give your thoughts heavy consideration. Your professionalism is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Matt

I chose Terry because he was starting a new business and Randy told me about his background. Randy did my first two saws. The 2260 Terry had at his 13 gtg was what made me go back to the Red and Black. Terry also dabbles in anything competitive. He will build a race saw for anyone willing to step up. I just don't know which saw to go to the next level with. The Wicked 2260 is a very impressive saw. Every time I start one of my saws its my favorite for at least the next hour. I say choose the person you like and go with the person. It seems they all can build a saw. I was just lucky to meet Randy first on here, and he introduced me to Terry.

I wanna nitro switch...

Just cold start race this and hold on. You will feel like you have hit the nitro switch.

Everything else feel so slow. :D

I need to borrow that saw bro'...
Tired of Adam kicking my ass with that damn piped, red 288!!!

I had loaned the MVP 166 and DN 084 before, but not the Helsel saw.

I sold the piped alky/nitro stroked 3120, piped alky/nitro 166, piped cocktail gas 084. Just lost interest and traveling all the time it seemed.
Family came 1st in my book and my son got 2 football Championship rings that I was there 24/7 for.

Plus I just sucked as a operator compared to the top dawgs out there. Helsels, Gingras etc etc.
