2172 On Sale at TCS

Just noticed TSC is selling Jonsered 2172's for $699 with free delivery (check online). That seems like a good deal to me, they are normally marked at $799. I remember my brother paying $800 for a 372 about 6 months ago... Happy Holidays.

you guys are lucky to pay $800 for a 372 they be $1100 where i'm from for a westcoast model i actually know a dealer that has the 372 XT priced higher then a 390. happy holidays though eveeryone

That is a really good deal, even if it is PHO. I almost had myself talked into buying one of the 2171s that Curtis Collectibles still has - there can't be many of those NOS saws left. This is almost too good of a deal to pass up...

The $699 price on the 2172 at TSC is power head only. The 2166 comes with the 24" bar and chain. A local Husqy dealer told me that TSC was going to discontinue selling the Jonsered saws.

I didnt start the thread to pressure any of the sponsers into matching the price. I debated making the post just for that reason but, If your like me and dont have $700 out of pocket to drop on a new saw then you can always finance it through a TSC card or other plastic card of your desire...

Say what? And replace them with what? Poulan, the only other brand they carry now (AFAIK or have seen), only goes to 50 cc.

Just a quick note, some dealers do not update their websites very often, so, items may or may not be available at this point.
