Hmm that might be a hard decision. I would say go use them until you can barely recognize them. Then let us know if you could decide.

Oregon cs250,first gen practical battery saw. And electronics are advancing fast, the same saw just a few years later has 40% more power and the available battery is about twice as much amphours.

It is an AV 44mm and it was only worth $4.00 when I got it. It had a perfect jug and bottom end. I wish I would have taken a picture of it when I bought it but I never thought it would run again. Last winter I bought a MS660 from the trading post here that needed new bearings and never split a chainsaw case yet. I wanted to practice on something first so one day I started practicing. I was very happy with how it turned out.
