Geez, Arboristsite is turning into a family site! Whodafigured.

Welcome to the site. It is good to see more couples who share interests and activities. Life would be a lot better if more couples did more stuff together...

Welcome TC, and thank you for your service!

If I were a 'bad guy', the thought of being arrested by someone packing a Stihl 440 would cause me to change my ways! :)

Welcome aboard Timberchic.
Glad ya can come along for the ride.
However, with more women jumpin on board,
us guys' may have to tone it down a bit !!

Yeah Right !!

My husband has a picture of me in uniform posing with the saw.He keeps threatning to post it,but I won't let him....Many thanks to all of you.I'm overwhelmed..None of ya'll have to worry about me...It's after five,I don't go to work for another 12 hours or so,so I'm just gonna kick back, knock back a few Bud Lights and keep reading your posts.

Welcome, I have spent the last five years as GI and the last three of them as a supervisor for three really dumb troops. I think I have heard every nasty one in the book. Just keep your head up. When I was in Iraq I just wished they would have run from me instead they just turned and shot at me. Not my idea of a good day.

Many thanks to you

Welcome to AS Timberchic!:blob2: And thank you for your service (also shout out dingo, XJWoody and Magnum783). My bro's an E9 stationed at Bragg.

I share a few things in common with ya, wear a duty belt everyday too but I get to carry my 365xp in the rig (along with 'bout 500lbs of SAR gear). I kinda wished my wife enjoyed cuttin' as much as I, but she will help with firewood ops sometimes. Operating the spitter or tractor for me. I'm not sure I want her watchin' me here though....:D I'm tippin' my black 'n tan to your Bud light:cheers:

I'm an ex-marine,and I know.It takes all kinds.I got out right before 9/11.Thank you for your time in Iraq.......I went to pick up a girl earlier this week on a fraudulent check warrant. This was her first offense, and unless you have three or four at one time or it's a third or fourth offense,I'll pick them up and take them to the magestrate judge, unless it falls under the above mentioned, the judge will fine the person 41 dollars and the person will be on their way, they are also given 30 days to pay the fine and clear the check...I explained all of this to this girl while I was trying to get her to come with me peacefully. She was a young chic with an attitude, and I guess she figured that she couldn't stand letting someone tell her what she had to do.So instead of getting to see the judge and getting her 41 dollar fine, she got handcuffed, searched and stripped of everything in her possesion except for her clothes in front of her friends...Instead of that 41 dollar and walk away charge, she ended up with a $5000 dollar bond and a charge that carries a mandatory 30 days....All for being dumb.I got called everything in the book, then got spit at to boot..I laugh about it,but it's frustrating sometimes...My husband had a guy working for him that was a National Guard reserve. He got called up and stationed at your base while you guys were in Iraq.He ended up joining the Army full time again, and last we heard he's in Iraq.

Hiya timberchic welcome and not to worry about peeps here giving you a hard time, we just about all had 'em so tend to be gentle, (in a rather ragged sort of way) with :newbie: Please, enjoy your saw, I can imagine it is a great stress reliever; the job you do is not for everyone and very stressfull, keep yourself safe and enjoy the comrades here!

:)

 *me not driving pissed*

Ya'll don't have to take it easy on this newbie,or just because I'm female.I've probably heard more, seen more and dealt with more than alot of you could ever imagine...It's all quite funny to me....Sounds like you have a cool job adkranger...I'm not sure about the helicopter thing.I hate heights. They've tried to teach me to climb trees, and I can't bring myself to do it....Thanks for the warm welcome guys.I think I'll finish this bud light, step out for my bed time smoke, then maybe Timberhauler will get lucky tonight.

Welcome chick, but... If we are going to be friends, you have to kick that light beer habit and step up to something real...:buttkick: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer:
