Thank you sir, i will look into thoseDepending on the size you're after, you should be able to get a Granberg for around that price. You can get a Panther Pro 2 for about 2/3 of that cost. "Best" can be defined in different ways. I opted for the Panther when I bought mine, primarily because of cost, and I was not sure how much I would use it. It has proven to be a good value, but I have modified it some. If I had it to do over again, and had the cash, I would probably opt for the Grandberg.
I just ordered mine from there. Should be here next week. You can get a 48" Granberg from toolcenter.com for under $250--that's a great price. I got 42" PantherPro II last year primarily because it was less expensive, but I'm thinking of selling it and getting the larger Granberg because it's supposed to be much lighter.
With that said I don't know if it's spamming or not but I ordered some items from Madsens and let me tell you that was the best customer service I have experienced in decades and if I had known about them before hand I would would have purchased my mill from them, and their pricing is very competitive.I just ordered mine from there. Should be here next week.
