https://www.wihatools.com/torx-tools/bits/power-and-long-bits/torxr-power-bit-6-single-pack 6" long

https://www.wihatools.com/hex-tools/bits/power-bits/hex-metric-power-bit-3-5-single-pack 3.5" long, I cannot find 6" on Wiha's site.

https://www.wihatools.com/hex-tools/bits/power-bits/70mm-hex-inch-power-bits-2-pack 2.75" loing, I cannot find anything longer on the inch pattern on their site and only showing in two packs not singles.

That is why I was suggesting Wera on some of the stuff. You could call Wiha USA @ 800-494-6104 and see if they offer the Hex in 152mm and that they just aren't listed but I would imagine if they did have it that they would have listed them on their site. [email protected] if you would prefer to email them.

This is what I use, haven't had the need to buy the black impact version . Lots of use and I have only gotten 2 out of the pack so far .

Thanks for the link as far as torx go probably the 27 is the most often needed. I have saved the link thanks again.

Thanks for the link yea I think if they offered longer they would be advertised. You would think that they made sets of all lengths but I guess not.

I thought I should come back a moment to close out the thread. Thank you to anyone who posted links for me I chased everyone of them ha ha. I went to the two best places near me to buy tools today and had zero luck. I went to Fastenal and a place called NH Bragg. Fastenal went to the phone immediately because they had never seen any thing like I wanted. They called a Product specialist and after 20 minutes on hold I told them it was ok if he wanted to hang up he was getting nowhere. I then went to Braggs and they flat out said the same thing never had any in their store and did not know how to get any.

That was enough for me, well that and spending 2 hours on the web today and about 6 the other day I had ,had enough of google. In all my searches I had found some no brand I ever heard of sets on Amazon, likely junk who knows. So that is what I did. I really wanted Wiha but in the middle of placing an order at MSC I discovered that some of the Wiha were out of stock and no in stock date listed. So it tried to shop locally but in the end I was back at Amazon like so many times before. My time is worth something and I have searched enough. Thanks for all the help my new bits are on the way, 7 pc set of SAE Allen drive, 7 pc set of Metric Allen drive and a 8 pc set of Torx,... 22 bits in all and all of them are 6" long. Jeff

What no links, just kidding. I had a hard time finding any 6" allen wrenches in a 1/4" drive configuration. I use a 1/4" socket adapter with long Allens on sockets, primarily cause I've had em forever, but after you asked I thought, I need some of those. Glad you found what you needed .Send pics of the many projects that your new tools allow you to move to the finished column on your to do list...

What impact driver are you using? Dewalt, Makita or?

Not sure of what he is using but I have found about the best deal I believe is out there on drill/impact combo kits if anyone is interested, these are new and not rebuilt. Porter Cable Brushless Combo kit with 2 batteries and standard charger, I have ordered two sets of them and love them. I use Dewalt Brushless everday at work but these are 1/3 the price and take a beating as well. I ended up doing an offer and got them for $115. Tons of torque on these kits as well, I have used about every brand out there (not brand bashing) and have found these to be right next to dewalt at the top of the list.

You can go to Amazon and buy aftermarket 4.5ah batteries for around $30 and they work as good as the original Porter Cable batteries for around 1/2 the price. If you feel you need the rapid charger then you can get this one that is basically the same as the Porter Cable for 3/4 the price.

I have a few Porter Cable tools, pretty decent stuff.
I have a DeWalt and Makita impacts, but you are on to something with your inexpensive batts. That's where they get ya. The way I buy my batts. is a little less conventional.
I buy mine in a new tool set of some sort. If you go to your favorite big box store before christmas,July 4,father's day and similar always has sales on tools ,and I had much rather spend $139. for a hammer drill with a charger and 2 lithium batts. than spend $110 for 2 batts (or whatever they cost, never bought in this configuration ) My method also creates a surplus of new tools, I have a box full of drills, impacts and a reciprocating saw or 2 that have never been used! Also pays to know where your favorite stores clearance isle is, great deals all year long! I bought several Makita lithium drills before Christmas. A couple for gifts and 1, to me , from me, with love.
Only $65 each, that's hard to beat...

No doubt, my personal set of Dewalts where still the old 14.4 volt sets and the tools where still going strong. The cost of replacement batteries, where mine had died, was where they where trying to get me. There is no way I was about to pay $75 for one battery so I just chucked all my Dewalt stuff and went new with Porter Cable.

When building mechanical rooms at work I go through a Dewalt 20v set about every 3 months and just chuck them when they are just worn out but this is putting in 10s of thousands of screws before they give up the ghost. This is where I have tried about every brand out there and found Dewalt to take the most abuse of any impact out there and what I gauge my personal tools against.

I believe next time I try a new brand I think it will be Rigid based primarily on their warranty, but the build quality doesn't hurt either!

I don't think that they still do, but they used to warranty the batts, which is crazy to say the least...

Take it for whats its worth (being free advice and all) save your money and go a different brand. Also I wouldn't recommend Hilti brand cordless tools, they come with the same deal on battery warranty as you mention but the tools that Hilti makes for cordless drill rank right below the cheapest drill you can buy at Harbor Freight in my opinion, and we are talking about the catch it on sale $12 cordless (which ironically I do own and use for trimming cases when reloading) :D.

Yes I will probably save my money, primarily due to not needing any more due to the aforementioned surplus of new pieces.
I am definitely not interested in anything hilti, I have somehilti tools that are functional but I had a problem once with a like new electric demolition hammer and the warranty and people involved with warranty work are a joke. And it's hard for me to joke about a $2200 tool...

I have to take back something I said on Ridgid, I honestly cannot say what they are like today on their tools. It has been a long time since I used their stuff so maybe it has gotten better.

Hilti on the other hand it will be a cold day in Hell before I change my mind about their cordless stuff.

Haven't used any rigid stuff for an extended period, but I think they feel like a good heavy duty ,quality piece.
But not enough real world experience to recommend....

I can post the links I think? if I still have them just don't laugh at the poor quality that I am quite sure they are. I use one of them 18v fuel Milwaukee super powerful I just realized that baby is 100% full power when you touch the trigger. I had better be careful and make sure I have it in reverse....

Don't go to any trouble on the links, I just struggled to find the allens when you asked, with the exception of some really pricey sets that I would never pay that much for. Glad you found what you were looking for ! If they are functional, I wouldn't worry about brand or quality. That's why on the T27's I suggested the cheaper 5pack of bits vs the one more expensive bit that is rated for impact use. If you have to use them to their full potential, then your gonna break yer saw..
I'll send you a pic demonstrating what I mean, in a little bit!

This is what is on its way, I had a $25.00 gift card and free Prime shipping so I only had to come up the a small amount of money. They don't say Impact on them but I could not find enough of the good tools that were Impact and would have had to order from at least three companies to get just some of what I wanted. So for better or worse here they are.

I haven't broken anything with mine, Well as long as you don't count the time I got frustrated with one saw and just said the heck with it and took a 3lb sledge to it for relief. I felt so good after doing that.

Oh it's not bad, I didn't break anything but a bit, but it demonstrates the ability to break stuff.
I couldn't find the small end that shows the damage a little better, but if you look where it broke you can see that it's twisted radially vs the intact one. That will twist anything on a saw apart. And that was twisted apart by my least capable
18v impact that I've owned since 04.

Operational proficiency required not to break stuff, you can see that I'm still learning...
