so a couple weeks ago i signed up on this forum. I was looking into the purchase of a new saw. I ended up buqying a saw via ebay, to save a buck. Believe me, i'm that guy that needs to poop a nickel and make a dime. I PM'd Chipper 1 as i saw he was in my area.
Today i had the great fortune of meeting Chipper 1 firsthand. He helped me get my new saw up and running, ensuring everything was working proper. I saved $100 by going this route, which was great. But there's much more to this story.
I left feeling like Chipper 1 could be my brother. We are relatively close in age and grew up not far from one another. He did everything i hoped for and more. Some of his kids, who i met, were THE most well behaved kids i've ever encountered ! The whole experience was just awesome.
We got my saw running and he even let me cut a slab w his hopped up Stihl. That was cool. I just wanted to extend my gratitude and let the rest of you folks know...meeting folks via the internet can be shady but not w this guy. I am monetarily strapped and a perfect stranger reached out and helped me out. How refreshing is that in todays day and age ?? Priceless for this weekend warrior. Thank you so much Chipper 1, you are one hell of a fella ! Cheers my new friend
