what saw should I buy?

I was just wondering which saw I should buy. I want one that is not too heavy for it's weight, has excellent power for its torque, has dealers that don't cost more than their charges, and has a color that is manly.

I've used the search feature, but can't find any information. I'll be using it mainly to cut hard and soft woods bigger than 2" in diameter. What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance for the wonderful information you provide.

Well, I had thought about it, but am not really inclined to go that route since my good buddy who knows more than anyone here says that Stihl sells them in Wal-Mart.

Get a stage III wildthing. Run a 40" bar with 1/2 inch full skip, make sure it's chisel. Use amsoil at 4000:1 ratio for mix gas. Oh, don't forget the vegtable oil for the bar. Tweeeeeek the carb just right, that baby will sing.

better yet wait till the tool sales hit the nearest fairgrounds. Go down there and get you one of the reconditioned homelite rangers. Send her out for a stage 3 kit then mix you up some 119 octane at 1000:1 grab the cannola oil and your best file sharpen your chain at a 80 degree angle and then proceed to mill to your hearts content.

Ya need a v8 although they are a little heavy for their weight but lota HP for their torque. A 12" bar will make it handy in brush. And they are very well BALANCED with this bar combo. If your cuttin west coast you may want to go with a big block and 14-16 inch bar.

don't forget the nitrous on that v-8 either just plumb it up to a thumb oiler button and then when you need the burst of speed to finish a cut hit the button.

Space, may I suggest you consult an engineer first before asking just simple questions ?
