we’re getting a south to north airflow here so no problems at all.

Yes. I’ve bought about 5 of these big bore return saws as they are sold for about 1/5 of the retail cost and require very little parts. It could be clutch, piston, coil, and most are just simple carb ignorance from the original buyers.

The sky seems a lot nicer today than yesterday. Yesterday, there was just a dull grey dome from horizon to horizon. There is still some haze, but today I can see the sun, clouds and even some blue sky ... a huge improvement!

It seems this is partly because the Canadian government has not allowed controlled burns, something the indigenous people realized was necessary generations ago.

I would say woke politicians are slow to learn, but that would be inaccurate. They are, instead, too headstrong to accept reality, and anything that disagrees with their preconceived ideas is ignored.

Very true. Gubbment managed forests in Canada and the US are wholly mismanaged. Causing deaths and property damage as well as huge costs to the tax payers.

It’s much better here today . Like mustangmike said there were patches of blue it’s raining here now which is great for getting the smoke out and we need the rain the lawn crunches as you walk on it

That used dto be my method, then I upgraded to puiting a piece of 1x4 through the handle and stepping on that. Now I am down to kneeling with my knee lightly on the airfilter cover and pull with left hand. Old age has its surprises, seems something knew is failing quite often.

The odd part about the 441 fail to start is that I use the decomp but it was popping out every time I pulled. Never saw that happen before.

May have to try that - I'm 5', not easy to get a good sharp pull on anything bigger than my old Mini Mac. I used to step on the handle to start one years ago - but the Husky handle isn't suited for that, especially in winter boots.

Replacing a couple broken tines on my Howard Rotavator, getting it ready for a job coming up,

This tiller has over 2,000 acres under its belt and it's still on its original chain, sprockets, bearings, seals ect..

Howards just last and last and last!!
