IMO nothing on earth limbs like a 346 or 550 v1. Beyond that it’s all about what you like.
But have you ever run a Doc Al ported 026/260?

His ported 360s are even stronger and not much larger. I also like my MMWS ported 261 quite a bit, as does Matt!

A lot of good saws out there, and a lot of good porters.

Part of the reason I stick with the same brand is all my bars interchange! Makes it easier.

Respectfully, nothing balances nearly as well as those two Husqvarna’s. 024 and 026 are amongst my favorite Stihls but even unlimited horsepower doesn’t make up for the way those little Husqvarna’s are balanced.

Done for the day, started before 8

I am whooped and now the daughter wants to go skiing
The 562xp and 372xp ran great, but not gonna lie, missed a certain 360 Stihl that I love to make firewood with. Might have to get my 262 going again. I bet it’s lighter than this 562 I snagged for cheap

For some reason it is not letting me load the pictures

I'll put your 06 in the trunk, I will be at Krystle's.

You did not answer my call or respond to my email.

I’m about to jump in the shower and then head that way. I did not see your missed call as my phone was in my pocket and I was running I saw most of the day. And I have not even checked my 57 emails from today I’ll see you at Krystle’s, definitely missed you and your fleet of bad ass Germans. Anybody that has run saws long enough nows it doesn’t matter The brand as long as it’s a professional grade., That’s what makes the difference. I’ll bring that burnt up 029 over to you also

The 262xp is lighter than the 562xp. I have had both.

I took a ride up on our hill to see how the roads are doing with all the heavy snow we got recently. I found this skeleton up on top. It is a 27" dead Oak that is now on the ground thanks to that little 254XP that I bought recently. I think that new Meteor piston and Caber ring are now officially broken in. I bucked up most of it into 80" long lengths.

I have one of them too, the problem with the Savages is, most of them don't/didn't have both bbls regulated to the sights, and that's a BIG deal to me.

The 2400's fixed that problem.

I have one of the 24s too mine is a 22 magnum over a 20 gauge and I used it a couple of years ago as a back up to my daughter when she was hunting with with sabots (rifles are not legal in the county I live in).
After she took her shot at a deer, half a dozen of them came running in front of the blind we were in, so I swung on one of them and dropped her at about 40 yards.
Don't need a lot of precision for that kind of shooting but it did the trick.

I plan on doing some cutting myself, first time in a while, hope I didn't forget how . A friend of ours had a good sized maple come down at here place, her son cut the driveway open, now the rest needs diced up. No plans to bring any home, lots of wood already here.
For shame! Not bringing any wood home! You can never have enough!
Jk, I didn't bring any wood home from my old man's place the last time I was over taking a tree down for him either.
