I've been using the blended fuel for 20 years in cars here in Iowa......but we have a CHOICE not to use it, like for my saws and other two smokes, they get unleaded.

I'd be pi$$ed if I did not have the option!

Just like seat belts, I've been using them since 1984 and then =POOF= some state lawmakers decided EVERYBODY is now required to do so. I guess I don't need or want the advice of the state! Anybody with me on that?

I think it was a State Law here that pumps that had
10% Ethanol blend to be posted on them.

Then all at once their where no pumps posted with 10% Ethanol.

Now the new stickers. :angry2:

Yeah, I noticed here just a few days ago the stickers on our pumps here in northern Arkansas.:angry2: What percentage can we run in our saws before we start having problems?

slowly but surely we're all screwed in some form or fashion

so keep on rockin' in the not so free world

I think most of the gas in Ohio has alcohol in it. The clerks in the stations don't have a clue. Ohio is one of the few states in the US that does not have regulations or standards on fuel quality. I wonder if BP having its headquarters in our state capital of Columbus has anything to do with that?

Where 'bout in central Missouri are you? There's a station a couple miles north of Columbia that has Turbo Blue at the pump. 105 or 110 octane, I can't remember which.

Never ran high-octane in a saw, i imagine it'd be ok? Of course it was about $5 a gallon last time I got some.

Bout 50 miles south of Jeff. I work on Ft. Wood bout 2 miles from the
air port, never have got around to asking them about fuel.

your saw will work fine on 10%... You might need to adjust it a tad richer. Just don't store your gas over over 60 days.

Use Stihl ultra or a decent synthetic and they won't separate. If you get separation you have a big problem with moisture, so put the cap on your fuel tank while it's in the back of the pickup!
