+ an extra chain. Does anyone else carry an extra spark plug? I'v never needed it but always carried one.

I think the ES is solid while E is laminated as well as having a replaceable nose. I have an ES bar and it's heavy.
+1 on the chaps.

I keep a small tool box in the truck extra chains, spark plugs,wedges,simple tools , grease rags etc.

I think you are comparing the Roll O Matic ES (Solid machined)
with the Dur O Matic E (Solid welded)
...or the Roll O Matic E (Laminated)
Roll O Matic ES is the one with the replaceable nose...

Yes, sure - but never needed the spare plug in the woods.
Extra chains in mandatory, in case you rock (or nail) out the one on the saw.

Hummm.....I'm confused. I thought the Roll O Matic ES was solid, but the Roll O matic E was a laminate. But I'm happy to stand corrected.
I know in the UK the E was a lot cheaper than the ES when I bought a 25 inch bar last year.

You will love this saw. The 18" bar will make it almost a "hot saw." I'm pulling a 20" chain with no sweat. This saw cuts like a gorilla!
The 361 is a marvel of modern technology, and if I had to save only one saw and throw the rest away, the MS 361 would be the one that stayed on board.:greenchainsaw:

I always bring two or three saws to the worksite. I save a lot of time and gas that way.

Yes - the E is nice and light, even lighter than most other (if not all)laminated ones, and holds up nicely.

They again to be on here for a year and only have one saw is very impressive.
