where can i get a seal puller for crank seals?

Yep, ouch! Thats why most of us fabricate our own system/setup!

the screwdriver in the seal worries me as far as scratching the crank how about drill a hole in the rim insert a screw and pull?

Scratching the crank is highly unlikely, it's the case you need to worry about.

its out thanks for the help I cut the rubber away from seal with exacto knife as to have more room to work,then gave the rim a tap to break it free then pulled it straight up with a curved snap on pick no prob.thanks for the responses .

1. Protect the crankshaft with tape

2. gently centre punch the metal part of the seal at 180
degrees apart

3. drive 2 drywall metal stud screws into the seal (not all
the way down.

4. grab the 2 screw heads with 2 pairs of pliers, and with
the palm of your hands resting on the saw housing, lift
up on the pliers.

I was able to pull the seals on my 036pro this way...worth a try.

I use this Lisle puller all the time. I filed down the lip and the width on the puller to make it easier to get into the smaller seals.

This looks look my next tool to go in the tool box. Does any one got a vid on you tube using this puller?

I got one. It works great. Sometimes I use a regular or deepwell socket as an extension for the piviot point to get more leverage or to use a better area of the saw case to pry on.

I am so getting one of those! Got a Husky 380cd I can not get the seals out of.
