038 Oil Leak

All,
Is there anyway that the saw could leak in a place that causes the oil to come out under the muffler? Saw is smoking a little but cannot figure this out. The chain appears not to be oiling well and my worry is that it has a leak. It would have to be up top somewhere since the oil collects under the muffler on the case of the saw. Let me know and thanks!

It sounds like your muffler is loose and it is unburnt fuel/mix is blowing out under the muffler. Are you sure it is oil? Take the muffler off and check it out. Plus a loose muffler will make it run lean.
