I run a many models of 10 to 25 year old Stihls these past years and still like the 041AV. Without the AV though its to much vibration for my comfort. Do loctite screws on any 041 though as their screws do tend to back out on that model if not loctited and properly torqued, especially muffler screws. With sharp chain and a good tune they cut up most firewood under 20" fast enough for me. My body can only go so fast for so long. My 041's did seem to get a lot done on a tank of fuel and were reliable. I have an 041 av super somewhere in my stash of to do list saws I'm looking forward to putting in my line up

That Super oughta be a awesome saw! Yeah when I got my current 041av many screws were loose and few missing when I disassembled it.
