Picked up an 064 with what was said to be a scored piston and cylinder

To me, they don't look that bad! (But I would rather get the opinion of others on here since I am new to rebuilding chainsaws)

Would like to rebuild the saw and keep it for using with my new Granberg CSM.

I have attached some pictures of the piston and cylinder and look forward to hearing everyones opinions on how I should proceed.

Thanks!

It looks like it may have ingested a little dirt through the air filter but looks in good shape for its age. You haven't shown the exhaust side of the piston which is the usual side that fails but it is probably because it looks OK. If the compression is 150+ then you are fine to go.
