1/2" pitch Stihl sprocket, valuable item or effective paperweight?

I have a lightly used, 6T spur sprocket for a large Stihl. I think it fits the 056, 076, etc. It's in good shape but since it's in 1/2" pitch, do I use it as a paperweight or is someone somewhere still wearing these things out? The od on it is 4" so this is as big of a sprocket as I've seen.

I think it would have to be for a 090. Not many direct drive saws were ever setup for a 1/2 chain and for good reason.

Looking on eBay I've found 1/2" 6T sprockets for the 056 and the 090 with appropriate part numbers. They both look like the one I have so without dimensions or a part number I don't know which I have. Not sure it matters since 1/2" chain is unobtanium...

I don't know if they listed a 1/2" pitch sprocket for a 056 or not. I think it would be funny if they did because even if it is only a 6 tooth a 056 won't like it much..

Guess it was an 050, not an 056. Here's eBay info for one listed now.

That sprocket is too small for a 090. Best used on a 076 I would guess..

As to your question of value, it appears someone thinks its worth $21.95.

It is still available so that may or may not be its value.

Yep just did some lookin in the books. No go for the 090

I've ran 1/2 on an old Homelite C-9 and it felt about the same as .404.
I also have a stock 056 mag II that makes the c-9 feel like a Poulan wild thing.

Well, here's one just like it that someone is claiming fits the 090. With no dimensions, I don't know what I have. A conversation piece I guess...
