1974 f600 high ranger 5td48phi

hi all I am a new jack to the site and was looking for some help, the high ranger bucket locks out some times while in the air, pistol grip does nothing but can be lowered from the base controls, any ideas ? micro safety switch, air in the lines?, also no brakes, looks like rear seals are leaking, hard fix? use this bucket around the farm to work on the barn, thanks
