Thanks to Levi and Crystal; they are great hosts. What a great event: fun, food and fellowship.

I hope we can get an event scheduled yet this year at Erick's. I'm thinkin any weekend from September 26th on would be good. I hope Bill G can make it with all his saws again. Dang batteries went dead and I missed getting a shot of all your saws fanned out; it was impressive.

Maybe at this GTG, Levi can finally bring a really fast saw, lol! That piped saw was fun...

Might be fun to have some more informal racing going on. I liked the mini-races that went on at Eric's when guys were running both ends of the log at the same time. Seemed more fun than just timing things with a stop-watch. No pressure, no hurt feelings, just fun.

Did you put your 064 on a tach? Here's what it ran like the last time it was run. The only difference is it has a different muffler now. It was tuned to 14K here. This was that crazy hard Beech Eric had.

Good seeing everyone again and meeting ones that I haven't.As has allready been said the weather was preemo.Bills' saws were awesome,lots that I had never seen before.Levis' piped 660 was smiley faces all around.Ericks' 064 kicked my 084s butt.My carb mod for the 262 is working great.Thanks to damifino for the saw darwing,still can't beleive I was pulled.Thanks a bunch to Levi and Crystal.What a great day!
 
It looks like everybody had a great time again and you couldn't bet any better weather for the middle of July in the midwest!!!!

Erick, you need to set a date and start a new thread, I want to be at this GTG. I have already missed too many!!! Anybody wanna carpool/need a ride from the STL area???:clap:
 
I agree, Erick get a thread started for your gtg. Thanks again for every one who made it. I am very grateful for the weather we had. Thnaks for the pics and vids WildKnight, I didn't get many taken during all that was goin on. OK... man its been too long since we had a gtg. We need another soon! :clap:
 
October is harvest season for me. I spend every weekend in September with saw/tractor shows. I have to bust my hump in October.

I agree. Looks like you guys had GREAT time, wish i would have found the time. :(

and besides, the wife says I need to get 'away' once in a while, too much stress around here, what with the house fire, insurance folks screwing us over, too much work and OT, etc.....
and I really need to start thinking about finding some firewood for this season so a GTG might just get me FIRED UP and out cutting some WOOD!!! :D
