yes some dealers are more bad boys that you thing , so they use the torgue to see if a homemade tool ......................................... any way good luck with your sawYes I have my t27 ready.
And dont forget to use a torgue wrench when you put the new muffler......................................................... if you like warranties......... just saying
I don't know a single dealer that uses a torque wrench to disassemble a saw to catch if someone has removed the muffle. Removing the muffler, and then reinstalling it doesn't void the warranty, no more than taking the starter side cover or clutch off does. Modding a muffle is a no-no, but if it isn't the cause of the failure most dealers won't even bother with it.yes some dealers are more bad boys that you thing , so they use the torgue to see if a homemade tool ......................................... any way good luck with your saw
I pulled the muffler and fired it up for a second and it seemed to run fine. I has good compression.
It ran with no muffler, but it doesn't run with a muffler?I drained the gas and put fresh fuel in it. no help
That kinda changes things. Does it start with the muffler fully installed? You said you checked the spark screen right?Yes sir. I ran it for a second and the torqe and throttle response was good.

Will air pass through the muffler like normal meaning no obstuctions inside?
You already know the answer to that question. Totally different situation than the op.
^^^this
you fix the saw?No obstructions
Is that the weak link on them? What other things have you come across on them? It's gonna need that solenoid on the side of the carb........I'd bet on it.
