5100S with Decomp Valve?

Nice job, how long have you been carving? What kind of chain you running? Is that a 16" bar? I don't know a damn thing about carving, but I thought the 1/4" chain was all the rage, with the small, pointy tipped bar.

This 5100 would eat up a carving bar in no time, those pointy tipped bars, are hard tipped, and could never take the rpm's. In the pic, 5100 is set up with the el-cheepo 91 series bar.....comes on poulans, but with chain without antikickback, currently I'm checking up, on some oregon 91R...ripping chain. Any of you sawmillers ever use it?
