If someone does not like that...they need to check their pulse !! SWEEEET :)

There was a 200 ton one listed on craigslist from Tiffin Ohio. $35,000 or best offer.

You can google the 200 ton splitter has several pictures of it. Would have to split a bunch of wood to ever pay for that thing.

Good site there Itdann, but this splitter was made by Cord King out of Canada. I asked them to make a stand alone splitter chamber hooked up to a fifty horse diesel motor.
The idea was to help get better use out of all the trees my tree service comes across. Most all of our trunk wood has already been cut to fireplace length by the time it makes it back to the yard.

Major Respect! To all those folks out there that source, process, and sell firewood to make a living.image.jpg
You guys are one tough bunch!

more info and pictures please. Is this a custom splitter they built for you? It appears you can load huge stuff or multiple smaller rounds in the hopper. How is it loaded, by hand or lift? The wedge is fixed in place? No resplitting, very nice... really, really nice!

Thanks for the questions and comments. This is a fixed wedge design splitter and is based on a production firewood processor splitting chamber. It was built by cord king out of canada. The splitting chamber will handle a 28 inch round in one go, or you can load as many smaller rounds as will fit. There is no log lift on the unit, but that would be a nice future add on.
Very powerful, productive,(3cords and hour) and quiet machine.
